These data protection guidelines apply to the Internet presence of Schwarz Cranz GmbH & Co. KG, Justus-von-Liebig-Straße 2, 21629 Neu Wulmstorf (hereinafter referred to as Schwarz Cranz), accessible at (hereinafter referred to as
Schwarz Cranz places great importance on the protection of your personal data and meets all the required technical and organisational measures to guarantee data protection. These data protection guidelines provide you with information as to what kind of personal data is logged about users by and how these are used:

1. Responsible organisation

Within the terms of the German Data Protection Act (BDSG), the organisation that is responsible for the processing of data on is Schwarz Cranz. Any exceptions are explained in these data protection guidelines.

2. Logging, processing and use of data

2.1 General

Personal data are "individual details that concern the personal and material circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person (person concerned)" (section 3 para. 1 Federal Data Protection Act). Personal data include e.g. first name, surname and email address.Schwarz Cranz uses your personal data in accordance with the applicable legal regulations, particularly in accordance with the data protection regulations of the Telemedia Law (TMG) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).All the personal data processed under Schwarz Cranz's responsibility are processed exclusively on servers in Germany and are not stored for any longer than necessary.For each use of this Internet presence – as is usual on the Internet – so-called usage data is logged in server log files. This usage data is automatically transferred by your Internet browser. This includes the following information:


  • IP address (Internet protocol address) of the computer accessing;
  • Internet address of the website from which was accessed (so-called origin or referrer URL);
  • name of service provider from which was accessed;
  • name of accessed files or information;
  • date and time, as well as duration of visit;
  • volume of data transferred;
  • operating system and information about the Internet browser on the computer accessing';
  • http status code (e.g. "request successful" or "required file not found").

Log file information of the above kind is stored by Schwarz Cranz for security reasons (e.g. to identify attempted hacks) for max. seven days and then deleted. Data that needs to be stored for longer for evidence purposes is excluded from deletion until the respective case has been clarified.
Furthermore, log file information will be stored exclusively anonymously and statistically evaluated in order to continuously improve this Internet presence, adapt it to the interests of its users and find and fix errors more quickly.

2.3 Contact form
You have the opportunity to send a message to Schwarz Cranz via the contact form. This requires you to give your name and email address. Schwarz Cranz will use the data entered on this contact form exclusively to process your questions and comments and respond to you.

2.4 Forwarding of data to third parties; service providers
Data will only be passed on to third parties if Schwarz Cranz is obligated to do so by law or an enforceable administrative or judicial order exists.
Schwarz Cranz reserves the right to use service providers to log or process data. Service providers will only receive the personal data from Schwarz Cranz that they require to complete the given task. Service providers could be commissioned, for example, to provide server capacity (on servers in Germany).

3. Cookies uses so-called cookies in order to make the use of this offer as easy for you as possible. Cookies are small text files that are transmitted to your web browser when accessing this offer. Cookies are automatically saved on your computer. It is not possible for Schwarz Cranz to glean personal information about users of its Internet presence via cookies. However, cookies help us to make our offer more user-friendly. You can deactivate cookies via your web browser settings. However, please note that this may prevent you making full use of all the functions available on this Internet offer. Cookies already saved can be deleted in the system settings of your web browser.

4. Web analysis (Piwik) uses Piwik, open source software for statistical evaluation of visits. Piwik uses so-called "cookies" (see above, section 4) that enable analysis of your use of ("tracking"). The information recorded by the cookie about your use of this Internet presence will be stored on the Schwarz Cranz server in Germany. Your IP address will be anonymised immediately after being processed and before being stored.
